Xiaomi’s first Laptop Mi Notebook Air Launched

Xiaomi has today launched its first Laptop “Mi Notebook Air” which will come in two variants Mi Notebook 13.3” and Mi Notebook Air 12.5”. Both the laptop can be compared to MacBook Air however Mi Notebook Air is a lot cheaper than MacBook. Both the laptops use SSD for storage which makes them a lot lighter than the normal HDD laptops. 1C Quick charging will be supported by both the laptops. Both Laptops will come with AKG custom dual speakers with Dolby digital Surround sound.

Mi Notebook Air

Mi Notebook Air 13.3” 

This Laptop runs on an Intel core i5 processor with the 8GB DDR4 RAM. For storage it has a 256GB PCIe SSD which can be expanded further by installing or replacing with new PCIe storage cards. The Laptop gives 9.5 hours of battery life and can be recharged to 50% in 30 minutes thanks to 1C quick charging. The 1080p screen is fully laminated with edge to edge glass protection. For connectivity the Laptop is provided with a HDMI, two USB 3.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB type C, Bluetooth 4.1, 802.11ac Dual band Wi-Fi connection. This Laptop can be unlocked with MI Band 2. Mi Notebook Air 13.3” weighs around 1.28kg and will come pre-installed with Windows 10 Home.

Mi Notebook Air 12.5”

Similar to the Notebook Air 13.3” it also has a FHD screen with edge to edge protection. This Laptop runs on Intel Core M3 processor with 4GB of RAM and can store 128GB of data on SATA SSD which can be expanded further. Battery life claimed by Xiaomi for Mi Notebook Air 12.5” is around 11.5 hours which can be recharged with 1C Quick Charging. It also weighs around 1.07kg and will come pre-installed with Windows 10 Home.
