Internet is working But Cannot Open Websites? Here are the tips that may help you

There are many broadband users who are facing issues while opening websites or may be getting slow speed on a particular website. This can be mainly caused by the Domain Name Servers that you use with your Internet Connection. If you cannot visit any website, then there is a great chance that there is something wrong with your router. You cannot rely on the DNS Servers that are automatically obtained from your ISP. There are many tools on the Internet that can help you getting the best DNS for your Internet Service Provider. But let’s first do the basic stuff which can help you to get your internet working.

The best universal DNS for all the ISP is the Google’s Domain Name Server, these are fast and can literally get you to website that you wanted to visit without giving errors. To know the Google’s DNS just search the web you will get it. But there is a catch here, if your ISP is providing you a ipv4 address then you have to use the Google’s ipv4 DNS server and for ipv6 you have to use Google’s ipv6 DNS server. Here is the Google’s Public DNS.

Primary DNS:
Secondary DNS:

Primary DNS:  2001:4860:4860::8888
Secondary DNS: 2001:4860:4860::8844

If you don’t know which IP version your Internet Service Provider use then just Google “What is my IP?”. It will show the current IP address that you are using.

What if Google DNS doesn’t work?

If it doesn’t work then you can move to any another DNS.
